A Musical Visit from the Titanic
Last Friday, Year 1 had a very special visit from some musicians. They played music that people may have heard on the Titanic during its journey.
We listened to a violin, piano accordion, bassoon and tin whistle. The music was beautiful, lively and exciting!
The children joined in by dancing. We learned how to dance a waltz, moving gently to the music, and an Irish jig, which was much faster and lots of fun.
We loved hearing the different instruments and imagining what it might have been like to listen to music on the Titanic.
