Year 1 had a fantastic time at Sports Day! The children showed enthusiasm, teamwork and determination as they took part in a range of exciting activities.

They carefully balanced their eggs in the egg and spoon race, tackled the obstacle course with confidence and worked hard in the water-in-a-bucket race. The relay races were full of energy, with everyone cheering on their teammates from start to finish.

All of the children should feel very proud of their brilliant effort and excellent sportsmanship. A huge congratulations to Birkdale Team, who were the overall winners of the day!
